AEGISMAX was founded by outdoor enthusiasts on May 25, 2010. We believe safety is the prerequisite for exploration. We don’t chase noise—we refine materials, structure, and workmanship again and again, so every piece of gear remains dependable through wind, snow, and long miles. Over time, real-world use and word of mouth from customers across countries and regions have become the recognition we value most.

Why May 25
We chose May 25 as our founding date in part to honor a moment in mountaineering history: on May 25, 1960, a Chinese mountaineering team reached the summit of Mount Everest via the north side route. In a time when supplies and conditions were extremely limited, that ascent reflected perseverance, teamwork, and reverence for the mountains. It also reminds us that exploration is not a bet on luck—it is preparation, discipline, and respect for safety margins. Our way of paying tribute is simple: to build those standards into our products, and to keep them there—over the long term.
